Methodology
Each record describes a single publicly announced gift, donation or gesture. Where information is missing, the archive says so rather than filling the gap.

- Occasion
- Stated value
- Verification status
- Cited sources
When only a year is known, the record shows the year and nothing more. Dates are never guessed.

Sourcing principles
Every record should cite at least one public source: a social media post, news article, video, interview or official statement.
- Links open the original publication in a new tab.
- Publication and access dates are shown where known.
- Records from register-style compilations credit that compilation as a source.

Verification
Each record carries one of four statuses describing how strongly the cited sources support it.
The available source directly establishes the information.
Publicly reported, but requires additional confirmation.
The value or another attribute is an estimate rather than a disclosed figure.
Recorded, but currently lacking sufficient supporting evidence.

Corrections
If you believe a record is inaccurate or incomplete, send the correction with a supporting source. Every submission is reviewed before anything changes; nothing is published automatically.
